"In
April 2000, we acquired our home in Kissimmee. This was intended to be
an investment for our future. By the summer of 2001, things were going
'pear shaped'. Whilst occupancy was reasonable, income was at 50% of the
levels promised and our expenses were forever increasing e.g. $45 to
change light bulbs! By chance, we were referred to Derek and Deb Harrison of Holidayhouse, a division of DPDgroup inc. We met Derek and Deb whilst on vacation in August 2001 and we liked what we heard and saw. Despite the prospect of losing all the bookings generated from our previous Management Company, we decided to ask Holidayhouse to look after our home with effect from September. The loss of all our bookings was compounded by the events of September 11th. Needless to say, our losses paled into insignificance given the events of that dreadful day. Despite the unfortunate sequence of events, the service provided by Holidayhouse has been absolutely brilliant. Derek and Deb have actually MANAGED our home, a novelty given our previous experience! Their attention to detail has turned our house into a home. They actually keep in touch, providing advice and guidance on a wide range of issues. Whilst the holiday home market has not been particularly active in recent months, Holidayhouse have introduced bookings at twice the rate obtained through my previous Management company. I would recommend Holidayhouse to any homeowner looking for a company to manage their holiday home in the Kissimmee area. "We moved from a large management
company that were unable to give us the personnel service we required
(sounds like a knocking shop) We like to know the people we entrust our
property to as we are 4,000 plus miles away from it and therefore so
much relies on trust. We know that we can ring Derek and Deb and discuss
our home and know we are talking to the folks that are actually
dealing with our home. They also have a sense of humor which is a bonus.
Owning a home is never going to be plain sailing all the time, there is
bound to be the occasional problem that crops up; however with Derek and
Deb we are very happy that we and our home is in safe hands," (back
to the knocking shop again!!!)".

"It's
very simple, I want value for money and a service I can trust. My
previous management companies just didn't do what they said they would.
Now I'm with Holidayhouse Management, not only do I know work will be
carried out on time, but I know that it will be carried out professionally
as they look after our home as if it were their own, you can't ask for
more. When I used to come out on holiday before, I would have to carry out all sorts of jobs that were needed, now when I come out I can't relax as all the jobs are done, it is now a pleasure to come away on holiday, rather than knowing I will have to do repairs. Great job Holidayhouse, keep up the good work!"

"My
wife, Marion, and I have jointly owned two properties in Windward Cay,
Kissimmee Florida, for almost ten years that we regularly rent out.
Over this time we have experienced the service given by
management companies both large and small who, on the whole, has been
very disappointing. Often, in fact, when visiting our properties, we have been so
alarmed at the condition we found then in, we gave much consideration to
selling up! Certainly, we
have had to spend much of our holidays over the years working on the
properties in order to leave them in a fit state to let. Early in 2001 we were recommended DPD Group Inc, and we changed to them in the Spring. When returning to Florida at Christmas we were delighted to find the properties in tip top condition. Reports from visiting guests and members of our family have confirmed that standards are being constantly maintained and that this was not just a ‘one-off blitz’ for our benefit! Furthermore, our costs have been kept down and well controlled. Others we know have moved to Deb and Derek, who run DPDgroup Inc, and we already hear that they are receiving the same excellent service as ourselves."

"I think I
could write a book on the problems I have had and the other horror
stories I have heard of with management companies. Thankfully we have
found a team that cares for our home. Cherri, my wife calls them the 'Dream Team' and I think she's right, they're always on call, helpful, friendly and willing to help - but most of all, I know I can trust them to look after my home when I'm over 4,000 miles away. We're lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time out here during the year, and have during this time needed help with various things, not always connected with the home, but Derek and Deb have always been there to be of help, something we would have never had from any other management company, they are indeed a 'Dream Team' who I would recommend."

"Sadly due
to circumstances I have just sold my home in Windward Cay after
about 8 years. During this time I have had 4 management companies and I
would say that Derek and Deb have definitely been the very best
management company I have had. As I said to Derek when we last spoke, it
was great that unlike the other companies we hadn't tried to rip him off
with odd fees for this and that plus silly money for any repairs. The
home was very clean and well presented, the best it had been for years. At this time I am very sad to see the house go, but if I do buy another in the future I will defiantly contact them again for management and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else."
